FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our hourly labor rate of $50 is competitively priced for a trained horticultural technician. This rate is per gardener. We usually like to work in teams of 2.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Digital pictures of the project are great so we can quickly see if our skills are the right fit for your garden. 2) Free initial site consultation to see the property and discuss goals of the project. 3) A concept plan will be developed and communicated. 4) If approved, get on the books!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Head gardener, Molly Youngblood, started religiously gardening in her community shared plot in 2015. She learned quite a lot about organic food production in a short time and attended the Urban Agriculture Program offered by the Denver Botanic Gardens outreach. Concurrently, she attended the University of CO at Denver, majoring in Sustainability. She then worked in high-end residential garden maintenance for 3 years before starting her own company. Molly now travels across the southwest designing new gardens, with assistants in Denver and Phoenix executing routine maintenance for clients.
