My approach to wedding photography, I believe, transcends the usual "shoot and show" method commonly used by most wedding photographers. Simply stated, my technique differs from other photographers in that I photograph the wedding in such a manner that incorporates not only what is expected, but more importantly, what is overlooked. Once the still images are made, I then produce a DVD of the wedding using a host of programs to create an animated document that is completely unique to the couple's personalities. A soundtrack is then added to complete the story. Simply delivering a collection of static images and perhaps a few minutes of video, I feel that it leaves the story half told. I choose to animate the still photographs in such a way that invokes an element of drama unlike that of a biographic document. I have found that by approaching my subject in this way, I am able to involve everyone, not just the couple, in the process. I am very selective when appointing my wedding schedule, and although the price of my services are somewhat high (generally within the $1,200 range), the memories created using this approach far out strides the cost.
