- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Differing from most design firms that bill clients hourly and reveal costs at the project's end, we transparently provide upfront pricing. This ensures clients know the scope and cost from the outset.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial Call: In our initial call, I cover the design process, pricing, and encourage you to share your specific design requirements. Home Walk-Through: ($110/ hour) During our walk-through, we'll evaluate each room, incorporating your unique needs into the design proposal. Following our consultation, I'll deliver a detailed project quote, encompassing your design cost and a proposed timeline. Measurement, Inventory, & Design Inspiration: Upon approval of the project scope and a 50% deposit, we'll schedule a secondary meeting to measure your space and discuss any existing inventory you want in the design. This session will also explore your personal style and vision for your home. Design: Following this, I'll create a floor plan for each room and provide budget guidance, considering quality, timeline, ordering direction, and overall project costs. Tailoring the design to fit within your budget, I'll craft a unique plan for each space in your home. Design Presentation: The highlight of our design process is the presentation day, where I'll unveil our distinctive selections for your home. This includes a detailed furniture layout, budget breakdown, and convenient links for you to begin placing orders. I offer ordering services for clients at an additional cost, available upon request.
