Introduction: We thrive off providing dogs the opportunity to frolic in the gorgeous Rocky Mountain foothills or hike the epic Chatfield State Park Dog Parks. This is not your average stroll around the block sniffing pavement. We take dogs into the wilderness where they reconnect with their inner dog! The dogs! Each one is unique, hilarious, and awesome in their own special way. I also love to be spending time with these fabulous companions in the great outdoors smelling the mountain air.

Coda is a 9 month old Mastiff mix pup, who has a lot of energy, far more than we can expend with full time jobs & school. Katie at Denver Dog Hikes is incredible, she instantly connected with my dog and takes great care to reinforce behavior we are working on (coming when called, off leash manners). I love being able to see Coda's adventures posted daily on Facebook. we are thrilled to have found such a great service, Coda looks forward to her hikes every week. My dogs were apart of Denver Dog hikes for 2 months. I would recommend this to anyone! The dogs get so much more out of it than dog boarding or normal dog walks. A++ and feel free to contact me for a review or info! Plan to use this again in the future when needed!

Thanks Brett! Cooper might appear to be a jovial old man a little set in his ways but as soon as that leash is off his puppy energy is out and he is a playful pup with silliness to go around. It makes me so happy to think my strolls with him are a highlight of his day. Lauren told me that since our walks he lays by the door waiting! I love Coop!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely, I am being mentored by a former narcotics dog trainer and use positive reinforcement and positive dog training. I am registered for an array of classes with Misha May Foundation.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Hikes! But we also get a lot of requests for pet sitting. We love it all!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There are a lot of people in the pet industry who are absolutely devoted. Yet there are many who are not. Some of this is because they simply lack ability to solely focus on animals and some of it is because the dogs are not their top priority. At Evergreem Dog Hikes.....(Denver Dog Hikes) we are head over paws for dogs and are 110% committed to tail wagging pups because it gives us great joy! We see well intentioned families and professionals not being able to provide an optimal enviornment for their dog because of the demands of modern life and we are here to support those busy families and working professionals provide the highest quality of life for their dog. Getting dogs fresh air, time in the great outdoors to move, play, and be unleashed and time to be with other pups.
