Introduction: Interested in softball or baseball lessons? I'm a pitching, hitting, catching, throwing, fielding, and running instructor for all ages in either softball or baseball. I've been coaching and instructing in Southern California since 1983 and Colorado since 2010. This experience has given me the time to develop and perfect my knowledge and skills that are necessary to become successful in these sports. I have been involved in fast pitch softball and baseball as a coach, parent, and player since 1959. Starting in 1990 I have been giving private lessons, and have been a clinician for several leagues conducting their pitching, hitting, and coaching clinics. Throughout my years of instruction I have helped players go on to play at the professional, Olympic, collegiate, and high school levels. I am a positive role model for young athletes, treating them with respect, as well as making the learning process fun for them. When my own children were playing I fell in love with coaching. I have a passion for helping others and found extreme self satisfaction in helping young athletes get better in developing their skills and improving their game. Nothing makes me happier than to see my student's face light up when they have implemented the skills we have been working on. Lessons are geared around improving the player's performance on the field. My emphasis is on fundamentals which is the key to a player's opportunity for success and enjoyment. I will help train the player so they can develop or refine their skills to become successful and competitive. I also help each player work through the mental and emotional challenges that they may face during game competition along with dealing with coaches and team mates. My lessons are typically 30 minutes or longer based on your needs. Each lesson includes the one-on-one attention and instruction for your specific needs. I can tailor an instructional program for any organization regardless of coaching or playing background. The content of each clinic will be customized to your specific needs and can include both lecture and participation oriented field sessions.
