I needed a shower in my home tiled and Ken and Higher Dimension Quality Construction came in and assured me that the job would take no longer than 3-4 days. Their prices were reasonable so I hired them for the job. Prior to the contract being signed they were very personable and professional. Once the contract was signed, it was a completely different story. They complained about everything and argued over every aspect of the job. They never asked me what I wanted and tiled where they wanted leaving some areas looking poor. They showed up late every single day, some days 6+ hours after when they said they would be there. During the job, they convinced me I needed a new shower diverter and my current one was unusable. However, once their plumber could not make the repair because he was unavailable, my current diverter was perfectly fine and did not need to be replaced. After the eighth day when they failed to show up again on time, I had to fire them and have the job finished by another company.

This job was a very isolated event. What the customer fails to include in this review is that he received free trash removal, 30% off of his pricing and did not even pay the remainder of the bill. The bathroom was already started with tile by a friend of the owner, and it was incorrectly set. We had to match up to the existing tile and also it was an old building that did not have studs in the wall in a to code. This customer also worked from his house and refused to work else where during the demolition and construction so noise became an issue as well. I am certainly not saying that my company did things correctly but I do feel we tried to satisfy a customer who's job had many issues. The diverter was not fixed because he did not want to wait for my plumber, who was also putting in the diverter for half of what it would normally cost. There was nothing wrong with the old one we just figured putting a new one in would make sure there were no issues in the pipes under the new tile( one of our protocols for insurance of no leakage. He did not fire us until it was complete, except for the drywall above the tile, and then said he would not pay us.
