Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: We have been in business since 1999. We have the same clients we've had since 1999, which I think it is very important to retain clients. We do our best to make our clients happy, we sit down with them once a month or quarter to go over there financial reports, we look at areas in they business where they are spending to much money or not enough. We make sure they understand all the reports they give to us. We espically go over the payroll quarter forms so the client understands them. Then we ask them to tell us what it all means. I really enjoy doing payroll and bookkeeping. My most favorite part is when the new clients books are in bad shape and I can go in and fix it all and see the smile on my clients face when I have fixed it. I also very much enjoy training and 3rd party applications. So I guess I would say "What is there not to like about my job"

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I owned a cleaning service, I found out that I really liked the bookkeeping and payroll part of the job. I went to a voc-college and earned a degree in accounting. I also work every year on the QB ProAdvisor Program, since I started in the first version of Quickbooks, I figure I can always get more education on accounting and how Quickbooks works

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Bookkeeping and Payroll, 3rd party applications, Quickbooks Training and Quickbooks Tune up. Payroll Reports, and year end payroll processing

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be sure they really understand your business and your accounting package. Going with the cheapest is not always the best. Check to see if they are on the BBB with at least an A rating. Get referrences from other companies they work for.
