FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer custom detailed proposals for your project. That proposal will include materials, labor, taxes, etc. We do not bill for our work hourly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer multiple options for obtaining an estimate. If you are just looking for a ballpark estimate for budgeting purposes, you can email photos of the existing space along with a description of the size and any design options. From there we can send you an email with added info and a rough estimates. If you are ready to move into an on-site consultation, we are happy to do that as well. We will generally ask for the best days and times to schedule with you and then plan a time that works for us both. In general, we are usually scheduling about 1-2 weeks out for consultations. After the on-site meeting, we strive to give you a proposal in about a week, though more complex projects could take multiple weeks to compile all necessary information. The proposal we send you contains a detailed “Scope of Work” that we then add standard building contract language to. The majority of the time, we are able to have you e-sign the contract. Once your deposit is made, we begin the paperwork (permits, building plans, etc) for your project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to the 20+ years of our on the job training, we are certified as a Colorado Residential Building Contractor from the International Code Council. We are licensed as a company in all the jurisdictions we work in. We work directly with all applicable building departments to ensure the project is done to current standards and documented accordingly.
