My A/C went out the and I had a well-known local company check it out. After spending about 15 minutes with my unit, they quoted me $36,000 for a new unit. They told me there was no saving the unit I had and a full replacement would likely take 3 weeks because my current unit needed to be moved. They offered to replace a couple of parts but said they didn’t know if that would solve the problem and told me it would cost $2500 for something that may or may not work. I called HVAC Quotes for a second opinion, and they were amazing. Not only did they squeeze me into the schedule so I wouldn’t be suffering in the heat, their tech spent 45 minutes diagnosing the problem. He was thorough, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. He replaced the same item the other company recommended, along with another part the other place didn’t even test AND for significantly less money. They were honest, no-nonsense, and didn’t try to upsell me on anything that wasn’t immediately necessary. I had them quote me for a new unit to compare, and it was so much less than the first company. I can’t recommend them enough. When it comes time to do a full replacement, they have my business.

When the Air Conditioner went out in my condo, Curt at HVAC Quotes provided the best quote with the most knowledgeable explanations and multiple options. He priced just the AC as well as a new furnace with the AC. Since the furnace was very old, and the price surprisingly reasonable, I went with a whole new system.
