My A/C went out the and I had a well-known local company check it out. After spending about 15 minutes with my unit, they quoted me $36,000 for a new unit. They told me there was no saving the unit I had and a full replacement would likely take 3 weeks because my current unit needed to be moved. They offered to replace a couple of parts but said they didn’t know if that would solve the problem and told me it would cost $2500 for something that may or may not work.
I called HVAC Quotes for a second opinion, and they were amazing. Not only did they squeeze me into the schedule so I wouldn’t be suffering in the heat, their tech spent 45 minutes diagnosing the problem. He was thorough, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable.
