Introduction: Everything we make is completely from scratch from the bacon to all desserts. We even build much of the equipment we use for displaying food, like our cocktail tree and pineapple tower displays. We grow over 50 different vegetables and 20 different herbs at our farm and our eggs are collected dailyfrom free range hens. We own all our own equipment which allows us to offer it for use for much less than the rental companies. All of our menus are unique and written specifically for each client. We always add extra little touches for the menu for no additional charge, such as an extra sauce for the beef or a fruit display for breakfast. This is our version of a baker's dozen. Cook with love is our mantra and the philosophy of our business and cooking great food has always been so rewarding and instantly gratifying. I love the wedding business because of the love, the powerful emotion that spreads through the celebration and when combined with family, friends great food and a beautiful setting the world seems perfect, flawless.

I don't think a review will do Zachary justice, but here goes.... I was a little skeptical of Thumbtack until I met Zachary when he provided an in-home tasting for me and my Fiance this weekend. Zachary has been extremely communicative since Day 1, suggesting an amazing Menu and taking my requests seriously. He even helped us figure out other details for our wedding day (just because he's a truly nice guy and wants to be helpful!) His food: Zachary is truly a professional in this field. He prepared a phenomenal tasting for us at my house and let us try the courses he would serve at our wedding. He created a beautiful environment (excellent presentation and ambiance- he even brought us fresh picked flowers for our tasting table) and we were marveling for hours afterwards at the fine dining experience he can produce. This tasting made us super comfortable for our big day and even more excited for our family and friends to have an amazing meal. The food was some of the best I have ever tasted- all fresh and unique. We even changed our dessert concept because Zachary brought us samples of 3 of his cheesecakes and they were AMAZING! I am so excited to have him cater our wedding meal, but our tasting experience itself is worth a review! :) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

For my fiancé's 40th Birthday Party, I wanted to make sure we had REALLY great food. I could not be more impressed with the quality and service Zac provided for our group of friends!! We had a buffet style BBQ at our home. Zac's presentation and professionalism are second to none. He accommodated the kiddos with some homemade Cheese N Mac and to top it off...he even made homemade ice cream on the spot! I would highly recommend Zac to anyone looking for a caterer who is dedicated to making your event special by providing the most AMAZING meal you will ever enjoy!

Chef Zach is the best! Words really don't do his food justice, you just have to try his food! Chef Zach created a wonderfully special anniversary dinner for my girlfriend and I. We enjoyed a 7 course tasting menu he created just for us with fresh veggies straight from his personal garden. Bottom line: When you want to truly celebrate and treat your dinner guests to an experience only chefs receive at their friend's restaurants... Give Chef Zach a call!

Zac did an amazing job for an adult dinner party that we hosted at our home. From the minute I contacted Zac, he was easy to work with and come up with a theme. He above and beyond exceeded our expectations! His food was amazing and his presentation had guests talking all night long. He also brought the most beautiful flowers from his garden. It was a fantastic dinner with a street taco theme and homemade salsa bar. I would absolutely use Zac again!

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    That's easy! I have cooked since I can remember, bananas and sugar when i was 5, cakes when I was 10, started getting paid for cooking when I was 14, apprenticeship when I was 17, first exec chef position by 21, opened 3 restaurants when I was 23(though I wasn't financially invested), had a dish on the cover of a magazine when I was 25. Opened a 4th restaurant when I was 27. I forever changed the way a national company serves their meals when I was 30. At 33 I was the youngest member ever of that corporations menu development team. and at 34 I started my own company. I have never wanted to do anything except what I am doing now, and i think I knew that when I was 5 years old!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Shop around. Ask about bringing in a different caterer than they recommend. Ask about the cost to replace a damaged rentals. Make sure your expectations are in the contract and don't be afraid to add or omit items in their contact.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

    If you haven't ever owned a business, then it is hard to see the whole picture of costs associated with doing business. There are so many little fees and charges that it is even tough for the business owner to have a clear picture of all expenses.
