We had such a fantastic experience working with Amaris! She captured beautiful photos of me and my fiancé that we’ll treasure forever. What really stood out was how kind and patient she was especially since we’re usually super awkward in front of a camera. Somehow, she made us feel totally at ease, and it shows in every shot. My now husband and I had a wonderful shoot with Amaris at the Garden of the Gods following our Colorado Elopement. We are both shy and introverted naturally but Amaris made us feel so comfortable and was able to help pose us for the perfect shots! She was very very sweet and down to earth! She has that photographers eye and her confidence was comforting in a situation that usually has me overly anxious. I don’t live in Colorado but if I ever need photos done there again I know who to call!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I traveled around the world for 11 months and fell in love with photography! Capturing the beauty of nature as well as the diversity of people always takes my breath away. Some of my favorite memories I was able to capture through photography and I will cherish those pictures for a lifetime!
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently shot a good friend’s wedding and it was a blast! Really knowing the couple and their love story makes the whole day so amazing to capture. I loved getting everything from the small details to the first kiss as husband and wife!!!! The wedding + reception ran for 8 hours, and my editing process took about a month.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for a photographer who has a style that you love! Someone who takes a personal interest in you (portraits) or you and your significant other (engagement, couple, and wedding) will be a plus, and add the bonus of such a fun shoot!
