Alex of 1979 did a fantastic job of installing vinyl flooring in my bathroom and laundry room. He gave me a fair price and completed the work with diligent effort and attention to detail. Like most home improvement projects, there were surprises that revealed themselves during the demo. Alex took these in stride and came up with creative solutions to deal with them. He showed up on time and was polite and communicated well. I will definitely use him again next time I have a flooring project.

I hired Mr. 1979 to rip up some recent water damaged carpet, pad, and tack. Despite the holiday season, he puntual, and finished the work in a timely manner. Recruiting a handy man online is always hit or miss. Mr. 1979 was a hit. I learned that he has many other skills and is a general contractor. Will hire him to do some other work around the house soon. Recommended.
