Laura is great! Worth every penny and then some for her horseback riding lessons!!! I have so much fun while learning all the wonders of horses and communication with them!!! I can't wait for my next ride!!!
I had been looking for a riding instructor for my 10 year old son that would be a good match. Knowing my son and being a former teacher/western rider I really wanted a person to match his learning style, be kind, patient and make his formal riding experience positive and meaningful. Once I met Lisa and observed how she began the riding lesson, communicated with my son, worked with the horse and progressed through the session I was joyfully impressed with her as an instructor. My son is excited and looks forward to his lessons with Lisa. I am so happy that Lisa has started my son on the right foot with caring for a horse, grooming, saddling, riding, working on his seat/balance, keeping light hands and enjoying being around horses. I am very grateful to Lisa for making riding lessons such a wonderful life long learning experience. As for me, I have been able to take riding lessons with Lisa too. I rode western when I was 9 to 18 years old and loved every minute of it. Then, I had to stop riding after I went to college and then life took over...marriage, job, traveling and having my son. Lisa was kind enough to offer lessons for me to get back riding again. I was thrilled, so I decided to try riding english focusing on seat work. Lisa was so patient and kind about getting me back into the saddle feeling confident again. She made riding fun and challenging for me mentally and physically. It has been so nice to be able to ride again, have it be an enjoyable experience, ride with my son and learn new skills. Lisa is an amazing instructor for kids and adults. It is a bonus getting one on one instruction. If you are interested in horseback riding for your child and/or yourself, contact Lisa.
Great learning experience. I appreciate their expertise in teaching and how they handle their horses. My daughter is so happy to ride here. The teachers and staff are wonderful. We have taken extra classes on handling the horses which are informative and fun.
Randy is very patient and skilled at teaching how to ride a horse. He tailors the experience to the level of the student and makes safety a priority. His property is perfect to learn to ride and offers space to progress to trail riding.
Outstanding! Have taken several lessons and am very impressed with the quality of horses and facility and with the instructor knowledge. Good for a variety of riding levels and the facility promotes a good "barn community" feel!
My daughter did a four hour riding lesson on 12/31/16 with Darla at Kids and Horses. It was excellent! I would highly recommend this riding school. My daughter is 9 years old, extremely shy and a beginner with horses. Darla was a great instructor! She made her feel comfortable right away. We can not wait to continue lessons at Kids and Horses.
Katie amazed me from day one with her knowledge and understanding of horses, patience with questions, and the effort she puts into fully interpreting and explaining horse behavior and effective riding/training techniques. I have learned more in 3 sessions here than I have in almost a year of work at a highly esteemed barn. I cannot give enough praise to Katie's care, compassion, and genuinely good attitude toward both her horses and her clients.
My son Cody (8yrs old) had the best lesson ever. He love the horse and listened better than I have ever seen. I will bringing. Him back for more lessons.
Tara Hieb set me up with a wonderful lease riding TC, an 18 year old gelding.
Leslie was quick to respond to my request for horseback riding lessons and I cannot wait to start riding with her as my instructor!

Cornerstone Farm is committed to offering top-notch English riding education in small, focused classes. Our goal is to assist people in maximizing their love for horses and riding by constantly enhancing their knowledge of horses and riding ability, conforming to the classic horsemanship principles. A proper position in the saddle produces an effective and strong rider, so we put equal importance on control and position. Our method to flatwork includes basic dressage training: horses are ridden forward, with suppleness, rhythm, and balance. This foundation permits us to jump under control and safely. At Cornerstone Farm, we specialize in bringing along green horses correctly and slowly. We're also available for problem solving or boosting the training of a competitive horse. In addition, we can provide exercise riding or maintenance for schooled horses, and can exhibit horses for owners at local competitions. For riders who do not own a horse, we have school horses available which are willing and sound. They vary from ponies to thoroughbreds, guaranteeing the right mount is on hand for riders of every ability and age. Students riding school horses join in saddling and grooming, and should plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to starting your lesson, and stay for 30 minutes after every lesson to properly care for your mount.
I am an English-style horseback rider with 11 years of experience. My journey began being a little girl interested in horseback riding. It grew into a passion, part of my everyday life and later competing (hunter-jumper), training horses and caring for horses. I have decent amount of experience in this field and I am at the beginning of taking my passion into another level - horseback riding training. I am a student offering horseback riding lessons to beginners and intermediate riders (must have your own horse), help with care of your horse when you are on vacation or in need of an advice from more experienced person, the training of your horse (lounging, under saddle, ground manners) and the help of making connection between you and your horse. The rider's and the horse's safety is my number one priority. I believe in friendly, well-structured, consistent, safe and fun way of teaching. Note that I am not officially a certified trainer therefore I might be an affordable option for you.
We do horseback riding lessons, trail rides, hayrides, pony rides, boarding, horse hauling, etc., all at a reasonable price.
I come from from a well-known riding family in Colorado. I have been riding since I could walk. Also, I've been showing and competing since I was five; now, I am 20 and showing in the Grand Prix ring. I have been teaching since I was 15 and have been able to watch my students grow as riders and as people. It makes teaching all worth it. I am always open to new students, from beginner to advanced.
Mark has a easy, no pressure way of creating better riding, better performance, and a better relationship with your horse.
