FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don’t really have a one-size-fits-all price because not every project means the same thing. Some people need a few photos for their website. Others are asking me to document one of the biggest days of their lives or create a film they’ll watch with their kids years from now. Those aren’t the same job to me. I price every project based on what’s involved and what we’re creating together. I’ll always be upfront about the cost, and I’m happy to talk through different options if you’re not sure exactly what you need.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually a quick phone call to find out as much as I can on the project and vision your going for. From there we’ll pick a date, location, and game plan. During the shoot I keep things laid back and give as much or as little direction as you need. Afterward I’ll edit everything myself and deliver your gallery as soon as it’s ready.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m mostly self-taught. Photography started as a hobby filming my friends skateboarding, and over the years that turned into countless hours of practice, studying other photographers and filmmakers, and refining my style to what it is today. Every shoot teaches me something new, and I’m always looking for ways to improve.
