We do tile, porcelain and natural stone installations and sales. Having been in the building trades most of my life and worked for and with many different "professionals," I have been very impressed with many and tremendously disappointed with more. So many "tradesmen" are only interested in ease of installation and getting the check. the latter are the ones that make it hard for the client to know whom to hire and allow into their homes and trust to do the job correctly and professionally. I have been fortunate enough to learn from veteran tradesmen that have been in the trades for many years. Although there are many methods to accomplish any given installation, there are certain basic rules of installation that are the difference between a two- or three-year install and a ten- to twenty-year install. As far as tile and stone, these guidelines are layed out by the national council on tile and the manufacturer's recommendations. I have always done my best to adhere to these recommendations and rules. I can honestly and proudly say that i have never had one repair due to my diligence in adhering to these rules to the best of my knowledge and ability. I expect and demand the same from any tradesman on my projects. These expectations of myself and my fellow tradesmen do not make me the lowest bid; however, it does ensure repeat customers and outstanding references.
