- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, my professional time is $125/hr, this normally involves direct representation with the state & IRS officials, research, giving tax & planning advice & recommendations and assistance with legal documents.. My accounting fee is $50/hr. My tax prep fee varies depending on type of return indiv./ business, and types of tax forms required to complete the return. Basic returns typically run $150-$200 for federal & state. Business returns typically run $300- $1,000, again depending on status of client books & records, and type of entity.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I analyze their current tax situation. Then I detail out a plan of action and quote a fee, for tax prep. if needed, collection/audit assistance/ accounting work etc, etc..
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Registered Tax Return Preparer and Authorized E-file provider. I am required to take 18 hours of continuing education per year. I worked as an IRS Revenue Officer for eight years. I have a BA in political science and a Master's in Public Admin. both from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
