About
Welcome to Fauna Builds!
Hi, I'm Terri Murphy, and after more than 10 years in plumbing and construction, I decided it was time to build the kind of company I always wished existed—one built on honesty, communication, quality craftsmanship, and respect. That's where Fauna Builds comes in.
Throughout my career, I've often been the only woman on the jobsite. I know how important it is to feel comfortable with the people you invite into your home, which is why my goal is simple: to make every client feel heard, respected, and included from the very first conversation.
As a licensed, insured, woman-owned business serving the Metro Denver & Front Range areas, Fauna Builds specializes in residential plumbing, bathroom and kitchen renovations, water heater installation and replacement, and home improvements. Beyond the work itself, I'm passionate about creating opportunities for more women to build careers in the plumbing trades.
When I'm not solving plumbing puzzles or dreaming about the next fixer-upper, you'll probably find me spending time with my two rescue burros, Aunt Jane and Moose.
Thank you for being here and supporting a local small business. I can't wait to share projects, home improvement tips, and a behind-the-scenes look as Fauna Builds grows.
If you're planning a project—or just want to learn more about what we do— I'd love to hear from you!

I highly recommend Fauna Builds. They were communicative throughout the course of my plumbing project, and Terri's attention to detail was fantastic! She clearly wanted to make sure that not only was the work high quality and up to code, but also that it aligned with my vision and was aesthetically pleasing. They were also extremely professional, so I felt secure with having them in my home. Truly above and beyond!

Excellent service from start to finish! Terri was responsive, professional, and punctual. They arrived on time, did a great job, and took the time to clean up thoroughly after completing the work. It's refreshing to work with someone who communicates well, respects your time and property, and takes pride in their work. I would absolutely recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to use their services again!

We’ve used Terri from Fauna Builds twice now and highly recommend them! It’s difficult to know who to trust when you need work done in your home, and we’re so glad our friend recommended Fauna Builds. We feel comfortable with Terri in our home, and the work she did has not only held up over time, but improved our quality of life. Terri takes the time to understand your goals, and specific needs, and works with you to get the outcome you desire. We’ve used Terri’s services twice for plumbing issues, and are currently working with her to complete a garage makeover that will include drywall repair & custom shelving. Having someone we can trust is so important & that’s why we’ll continue to work with Terri from Fauna Builds for home repair & improvement in the future.

Fauna Builds remodeled our bathroom and I am extremely pleased with the result. Terri was kind, professional, always on time, and kept the project within our budget. Her care, craftsmanship and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. What used to be an outdated bathroom that we tolerated is now a beautiful, efficient space we love. I highly recommend Fauna Builds for any remodeling or plumbing project.

We were dealing with an outdoor drain that wasn’t clearing water from our yard after some heavy downpours. Terri was able to move around her schedule and get out to us before another heavy rainstorm and clear the line. She used a camera to inspect the line and actually found that a previous owner had completely blocked off the line with landscaping! She was able to use a high-pressure jetter to clear a solid 10 feet of accumulated soil and debris and now the line drains perfectly. Really appreciate her quick response and accurate assessment. Highly recommend!
