George was professional and was very practical in his approach to restoration. He didn't go overboard where as many restoration professionals want to rip everything out, so I appreciated that.

While its sometimes necessary to demolish everything, because you were so quick to take action after the initial water escape, tearing out the ceiling and ripping out all the carpet was not necessary. We hope such an occurence does not happen again, but if does, we are here to help!

We had an unfortunate emergency and it created a flooded basement. I called around to a few places and found restoration one to be incredibly responsive and quick to get out to my property as well as very thorough in the analysis.The gentlemen came out to our house and worked tirelessly throughout the day and into the evening however They were a little bit careless in the removal of our baseboards and cutting into our carpet. They cut across our big room vertically and so now were stuck with a seam there. This would have been easily averted have they cut a little further down maybe 5 feet where the couch lays. The other issue was that they removed all the baseboards even though they were not all damp, and tthey did not cut the baseboard tops well and left a lot of damage to the drywallThey definitely appeared to be in a hurry And focused too much on demolition.Lastly, the only other slight discrepancy was with how much the job came to in the end. It wasnt too big of a deal and it was somewhat expected so this is a pretty minimal change but I just felt it shouldve been handled slightly different.Aside from those issues they did the work that needed to be done and when they were finished they also had additional contacts that I was able to call that continued to save me money on the rebuilding of the basement.We ended up saving our carpet and having to reinsert new pad which saved us thousands of dollars the people that did the carpet even shampooed the carpets for us so it kept the original softness that we thought we would lose.The last thing we are working on now is reinstalling all brand new baseboards and doing a lot of drywall repair.I know if I was going to have this happen again I would definitely still contact the same company - Restoration 1 - but I would just be a little bit more clear on the overall costs and probably mention to be a little more careful with what they do as far as demo.I do appreciate restoration one for all the work they did do and I feel like 4 out of 5 stars is an honest representation of how everything went down.

Restoration 1 of Littleton was excellent in managing all phases of the work needed to restore our flooded basement. They were always on time. They did what they said they were going to do.
