I hired Santana Photography for my daughter's 9th birthday (pictures are very important to me and it's hard to manage a party for kids and take pictures). Santana was very responsive and helpful after I reached out about the event. Because our lives are chaotic, I got our party's beginning time wrong and Santana was flexible and changed his plans. He was kind and professional, and did a great job of rolling with the chaos of the party. (We had a bouncy house in the backyard. A large rainstorm rolled in - he got a couple great pictures of that, and then kids taking over our basement.) We love the images, he's a great photographer, and we appreciate his flexibility. I highly recommend him. He can roll with the chaos of a large event and I'm sure he takes great portraits as well. It can be hard finding great photographers on Thumbtack, but Santana is definitely one of them. Thank you for your help, Santana!

Tristan came to my home and worked with all my photos needs! I had some inspo photos from Pinterest and he helped me recreate them with my baby. He also was super patient as we worked through the crying and feeding that comes with a newborn. He also turned around our photos in a week during holiday season, which we super appreciated. Absolutely loved our photos and working with Tristan!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $1.00/mile traveled (there and back) if the shoot is 50 miles outside of Boulder, CO. I also offer a 10% discount off the total of projects (not including travel fee) to military veterans.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Let's get to know each other and the details of the project! I'll ask the location of the shoot, how long I'm needed for the job and any other specifics to help me give you the best quality product.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self taught photographer and with the help of my colleagues we keep pushing each other to learn and grow more. I am also contracted with a Colorado based wedding photography company where I've taken online courses to help improve my photography and people skills.
