FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Everything I do is custom; therefore, I don't list my pricing information online. Instead, I like to discuss the client's specific needs during a complimentary consultation. From here, I work with the client to come up with a pricing structure that fits their needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Complimentary Consultation: Before working with any client, I schedule a complimentary consultation which is a brief 15-minute phone call. This gives me the chance to get to know the individual better and allows them to ask questions. If it's a good fit and the client would like to schedule a session, I collect the session fee and schedule a time for the photography session. 2. Pre-Planning Session: After receiving the session fee and confirming the date of the photography session, I schedule a pre-planing session with the client. The pre-planning session is an in-person meeting in which I go over the details of the session with the client. After the details of the session are planned out, the client has the opportunity to order beautiful artwork and customizable products that feature photos from the session. 3. Photography Session: I meet the client on the day of the session at the desired photography location. I spend as much time as needed with the client until we get all of the poses needed. I typically spend anywhere from 30 minutes - 2 hours with clients during their session. 4. Ordering Session: I meet the client for an in-person ordering session. I present the client with the photos from the session and allow them to pick out their favorites. From here, I work with the client to customize the artwork they'd like to order. I walk them through the entire process and make sure the details are worked out before finalizing the order. Once the order is placed, the client can select to have the products delivered directly to their house or request that I hand deliver the products to them in person. If the client requests in-person delivery, I even offer my services to help hang the artwork on the wall.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University, where I majored in entrepreneurship and international business. In addition to my education, I've been practicing photography for over 15 years. Before starting my photography business, I also held several positions that required me to use my photography skills to take photos at events or photograph products for e-commerce purposes.
