How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had a passion for outdoor spaces since I was in High School. I have always had a desire to create things and loved the outdoors so this became a way that I could do both and get paid for it.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I mostly do designs for newly construction residential homes.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Landscape Architects and Designers are not Arborists, Turf Specialists or Foresters. We do not know how to trim trees, how to diagnose what is wrong with your sick tree or know what is wrong with your lawn. We know plant species, hardscape materials and design principles that allow us to know how to place them correctly in landscapes that will create spaces you will enjoy.
