FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is flat-rate and built around your business — one predictable monthly price based on your transaction volume and the services you need, so you'll never get a surprise hourly bill. After a free consultation, I'll give you a clear quote up front, and you'll know exactly what you're paying before any work begins. There are no long-term contracts and no hidden fees. You stay because the work is good, not because you're locked in, and your flat monthly rate covers the scope we agree on. New clients also get their first 3 months of cleanup free when they start a monthly package. If your books need a larger cleanup or catch-up beyond that, I'll quote it separately and clearly before we start — never any surprises.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My goal is to make getting started simple and stress-free. Here's how it usually works: Free consultation — We hop on a quick call so I can learn about your business, where your books stand today, and what's been frustrating you. Books review & quote — I take a look at your current records to understand the scope, then give you a clear, flat-rate monthly quote up front. No obligation. Easy onboarding — Once you're ready, I get secure access to your QuickBooks and accounts and have you fill out a short intake form. I handle the setup from there. Cleanup or catch-up — If your books are behind or messy, I get them current and accurate first. Your first 3 months of cleanup are free with a monthly package. Ongoing monthly bookkeeping — I keep everything reconciled, organized, and reported on a regular schedule, with clear answers whenever you have questions. You'll always work directly with me, and I keep things in plain English — no jargon, and no chasing me down for updates.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold two credentials that are central to my work: NACPB Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) — a national license from the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers, earned by passing rigorous exams, meeting experience requirements, and completing continuing education each year. It means my work meets a recognized professional standard, not just on-the-job guesswork. QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor — Intuit's official certification confirming I'm trained and tested on QuickBooks Online, so I can set it up correctly, clean up problems, and get the most out of it for your business. I also stay current with continuing education and the latest QuickBooks updates, so your books are always handled accurately and by the book. For you, that means working with someone qualified and accountable — not someone who just "knows their way around a spreadsheet."
