- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Many things factor into the pricing of a performance. Just like a lawyer or carpenter, it usually depends on the hours it takes to accomplish the goal. If there are PA and Lights already there, the location is in town and we can play music from our set list the price will be much lower than an out of town gig that we bring PA and Lights to while having to learn 10 new specialty songs. Also, easy access is a factor. If our crew needs to haul gear up 6 floors and down 8 hallways, that adds time and therefore additional costs as opposed to a gig where we can drive the truck directly to the side of the stage and roll the equipment off.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We do many corporate events, festival concerts, and wedding receptions. Occasionally we'll do an acoustic show or a live performance with just a "karoke" track.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for clear answers to your questions, quick responses and an attitude of "this is not about us, it's about you".
