- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fees are more than compatible of what you would pay at your local club. Most charge between $100-$125.00 per hour for a private lesson. I taught at a local club for 5 years
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) General needs assessment- what are the persons short and long term tennis goals. 2) Assessment of present tennis skills:-beginner, intermediate, advanced. 3) General fitness of individual-any medical issues or medications I should be aware of. 4) Last, set goals, short and long term- function of where skills are now and where you would like to be. 5) Basic explanation of three components of tennis instruction-technique, strategy, and mental aspects of training and how one is built on another.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
-Masters Degree in Psychology-I have been a part-time lecturer at the college level -Certified Tennis Professional through the Professional Tennis Registry-Started by Dennis Van de Meer-Coach to Billie Jean King. -Numerous tennis training sessions at Hilton Head, PTR Headquarters and local tennis clubs and universties. Member-27 years -Contact Point Tennis Academy-member United States Tennis Association-member 25 years. -Tournament Player-USTA-4.5 mens singles and doubles. _Former tennis teacher at the North Haven Racquet Club-6 years.
