- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $50-70/hr, depending on the number of people we are cooking for. Groceries are extra We cook in our client's homes. We cook and refrigerate 3-4 meals for the week. It takes us 4 hours of cooking to complete your Personalized Menu and cleanup. Personalized means you control what ingredients we use in your recipes. Organic, vegan, paleo, or low sodium, it's your choice. For our Private Diners, we do table service as well. We arrive at 4pm to begin cooking.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer FREE consultations. You learn about us and we learn as much as we can about you. If you love us, we pick a cooking day. My Chef To Go will plan out the menu and grocery list. On the cooking day Your Chef will shop, cook, and clean up, leaving only aromas of homemade food,
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I and our Chefs have our Culinary Training I and our Chefs have our Connecticut Serve Safe Licence which teaches how to handle food safely so people do not get sick. Our Chefs go through criminal background checks as well.
