I hired Chef Rody and My Chef To Go for a fundraising dinner which had a Latin theme to it. Chef Rody was so creative in creating the menu, it was perfect. The food was so fresh, healthy, and delicious. The guests raved about the dinner and dessert. As we cleared the dinner tables we noticed that all the plates were scraped clean! Success! We will be hiring Chef Rody and My Chef To Go again!

Chef Rody is magical! The Brookfield Chamber of Commerce recently had a dinner event at Brookfield Theatre and Chef Rody presented a beautiful display of her dinner choices and everyone loved the food, loved her and loved the presentation. Don't miss out! She is the best.

Chef Rody is meticulous and goes above and beyond to make sure your experience is perfect. The food is delicious and exactly what you want. I have used Rody to make meals ahead of time for our busy family of 5 and I have also used her to cook for a party of 20. Both experiences were excellent. Would definitely use her again and recommend to anyone who wants to host a party without worrying about food prep!

We love My Chef to Go! Chef Rody is amazing! She collected our input on our family needs, did the grocery shopping, cooked in our kitchen, and cleaned everything! Now we have dinners for the entire family for a week... we just have to warm it up and we're eating. With our family's crazy schedule, this is an incredible service that we can't live without. Eight friends sat around a table and enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal prepared by Chef Rody. Each dish was prepared with fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $50-70/hr, depending on the number of people we are cooking for. Groceries are extra We cook in our client's homes. We cook and refrigerate 3-4 meals for the week. It takes us 4 hours of cooking to complete your Personalized Menu and cleanup. Personalized means you control what ingredients we use in your recipes. Organic, vegan, paleo, or low sodium, it's your choice. For our Private Diners, we do table service as well. We arrive at 4pm to begin cooking.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer FREE consultations. You learn about us and we learn as much as we can about you. If you love us, we pick a cooking day. My Chef To Go will plan out the menu and grocery list. On the cooking day Your Chef will shop, cook, and clean up, leaving only aromas of homemade food,
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I and our Chefs have our Culinary Training I and our Chefs have our Connecticut Serve Safe Licence which teaches how to handle food safely so people do not get sick. Our Chefs go through criminal background checks as well.
