Introduction: I have been fortunate enough to have many performance and teaching opportunities thus far in my life. From a multiple performances at the Blue Note in NYC, to performing with jazz legends such as Frank Sinatra Jr, Paquito D'Rivera, and more. I know what it takes to be a performing musician which gives me a distinct edge when it comes to teaching and preparing a student for the same.
I love to help students really figure out how to play their instrument. For example, in regards to my trumpet students, when I have a student that goes from being the very worst in their school to being the best, it's an awesome feeling.

Matt has been teaching my 11 year old son piano for about 15 months. Matt is prompt, reliable and flexible. Beyond being an excellent teacher, he has really helped my son maintain his interest in piano. He has been a great fit for us and I would recommend him unreservedly as any type of instrument instructor.
