- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard town hall wedding is $200 plus $1/ mile, round-trip from my home, outside of Hamden, CT. The more people and preparation involved the higher the price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Fiancés, or their representatives, contact me via text, email, or phone. They are walked through the marriage license process. We discuss when and where they are going to have a wedding or elopement, and agree on a price. Often, we meet at the town clerks office of their choice, we go to the records room, or a beautiful/ picturesque spot around the town hall. They exchange vows and rings, I shower them with blessings, they kiss, I sign their marriage license, and they are married!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
You need to be emotionally intelligent, an attentive listener, a good communicator, calm, accommodating, gracious, grateful, and punctual.
