I went on Thumbtack as a Hail Mary to get a photographer for my best friend’s last minute elopement. I’m not talking last minute like in a couple of months. It was literally only a couple of days notice!!! Joel was able to help me organize a photo shoot for the couple before and during their mini wedding at the park!!!!! Not only did Joel make this happen with SUCH little notice, his work is wonderful!!!! The pictures are bright and beautiful and truly capture the happiness and love between my best friend and her now husband. I am so beyond thrilled and excited about this experience. My friends have gorgeous photographs and I was able to gift them at an extremely reasonable price!!!! FIVE STARS!!

Joel has been very attentive, prompt and flexible since the day I contacted him for a photo session. We had to re- schedule the appointment due to weather and personal reasons and Joel was understanding, professional and accommodating. • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

  My pricing includes my equipment, editing with Adobe Lightroom, and travel is adjusted based on distance from the job. I try to work with my customer's budget to determine a fair price for services.

• What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

  The first thing I like to do is determine the customer's budget and how many photos they truly want. The next step is deciding on the style or aesthetic the customer desires and how to achieve it. Ultimately, I want to make sure the client is getting the photographs and experience they envision. I want them to feel at ease and enjoy the process.

• What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

  I am a self-taught Photographer and artist. However, I have 3 years of experience working as a Photographer. I have worked with reputable clients such as the Hartford Courant and Eastern Connecticut State University along with individual clients for smaller projects/shoots.
