The most common type is incorporating heirloom beads into new jewelry. People very often have parts of necklaces that are meaningful to them, but something is just off about the piece and it needs to get changed or redesigned. I turn it into jewelry that they will actually love to wear. Another type of job is changing the functionality of the jewelry. Changing a bracelet into an anklet or a pin into a necklace. And lastly, creating new jewelry to match a special occasion outfit, like a prom dress or bridal parties.
