FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It is always best to shop around, and I would encourage experiencing a baker's product either through someone else's party cake, or ordering some cupcakes to try the product, before making a decision on a large or intricate cake. Also location of a bakery does affect the pricing of cakes depending upon where you go. For instance, if you go to a big city, or a tourist town on the coast, you are going to pay a much higher price for a special occasion cake or wedding cake, than if you went to someplace a little "out of the way". The quality can be the same, or better. Shop around.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish that the shows that they see on TV, portrayed the actual amount of time that is really spent on one cake. It doesn't/can't happen all in that half hour, and their clients are paying thousands of dollars for those cakes. Even though, (and because) we're not on TV, we do put our clients first, and offer just as good, if not better service, and our cakes moist and delicious, to boot!
