FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I would suggest that people looking to hire myself (or anyone else) find out, before signing any contracts / agreements, if the venue requires separate liability insurance for every vendor. Some places are flexible and others are not. Be aware that while I am certainly able to obtain liability insurance for any event, there is usually a $175 upcharge to my base rate. If I can be covered under the venue, I always have a note in my quote stating that I'm happy to reduce the quote by $175.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided that I would like a change of pace and find yet another outlet of sharing my bubbly personality with others. It was then thatbi decided bartending school would be a great option for me and would bring some extra income for vacations and extras.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I was a daytime bartender for a small country bar in the town I live in and also worked for a catering company (mostly high-end weddings) as a bartender earlier this year.
