Yin Lu

Introduction: I have proven experience teaching Chinese to both children and adults. My adult students have attained as high as an Advanced HSK (Chinese proficiency test) Level 11 in both speaking and writing portions and a 4 (advanced) on the ACTFL oral proficiency test. My younger students have found that Chinese isn't hard, but fun, and I pride myself on that. I welcome students of all ages and levels, being effective at teaching new learners, and helping more advanced learners get to the next level. My teaching style focuses on production abilities, speaking and writing, the skills that are necessary for executing them, grammar, and pronunciation. I will also impart insights into Chinese culture and history and hope that all my students will both have fun and grow with me.
