FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is an estimate depending on the complexity of the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1st a discussion of what the customer is looking to have made and quilted. If possible, I love to meet and show examples of quilts and different design ideas. Once we have come up with a direction to go. I give the customer an estimate of cost and we determine when it needs to be completed. I will collect a 20% deposit for any fabric and batting that may need to be purchased and get started on their project as soon as I can. I contact them when it is ready to be shipped or picked up. Lots of communication from beginning to end!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been trained and mentored by Nanc Christopherson. She was one of the original Handiquilter Longarm educators. Currently owner of Longarm Quilting Academy.
