- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first go out to meet the pet/pets prior to the time the client is going away. And make sure the pet and owner are comfortable with me. I also visit those pups who's owners work a long day. After we meet, you are all set!!! Now u can call or text at anytime, and have me go out to care for ur pet. Last minute appnts. Never a problem!!!!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I managed and worked at a kennel. I seen how stressed and scared pets can be when boarding. I also seen how extra services people paid for, but the extras were never done. I went away and left my dog at the one kennel I worked for and my dog received none of her medication and also did not feed her her own food I brought in. Needless to say I lost faith. Especially around holidays where it's a packed house of 100 barking dogs. They get no extras on holidays. It was sad. I felt pets should get to stay home and keep their normal routine going as much as possible!!! So I started a pet care business that grew incredibly. I can sleep better at night knowing I provided the best care possible to keep pets happy at home while their family I'd away.
