- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Session fees include your time with the photographer, preparation, shooting, and basic editing. Prints and digital images are sold separately unless otherwise stated in a package. Packages are available for weddings, portraits, branding, and events — all customizable to fit your needs. We offer seasonal promotions and discounts for military families, repeat clients, and referral-based bookings. Travel fees may apply for locations outside of the local area (this will always be discussed upfront). Payment plans are available for wedding and premium portrait sessions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is easy and personalized: Consultation – We start with a quick call or email to learn your vision. Booking – Once you're ready, we secure your date with a signed contract and deposit. Planning – We’ll help guide location, wardrobe, and session details. Photoshoot – Your session day is relaxed and fun — we capture it all! Delivery – You’ll receive a private gallery to view and select your favorite images.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started BlaqPearl Photography out of a passion for capturing real, meaningful moments—especially within my own family and community. What began as a hobby quickly grew into a purpose-driven business to help others preserve their most important memories.
