Criminal Defense Attorney
Gregory Smith, Esq. has done an excellent job representing me and his price was not expensive. I appreciate his help.Apr 8, 2016Verified
Greg was understanding and he knew I was going through a lot at the time . He motivated me to do better in life and assisted me with finding a therepist to talk to about my problems . Overall he is very helpful . and it felt like he genuinely cared about me. He even checks on me occasionally which means a lot :)Nov 9, 2016
License Type: Attorney (CT)
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I do not have a standard fee --- it depends on the seriousness of the charges --- but it may be a little lower than normal for this area.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I ask them what happened.I tell them what their options are. I ask them what they want to do. I tell them my fee. If they hire me, I interview them and get all the details. I tell the court I'm representing them and get the police reports. On the day of court I talk to the state's attorney beforehand about the case.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have handled felonies and misdemeanors as a special public defender in Danbury and Waterbury for the last four years. As a private attorney for the last five years I have represented clients in criminal and motor vehicle courts in those cities and in Middletown, Bridgeport, Norwalk and Stamford.
