- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our systems can vary quite a bit. System type, example oil, gas or heat pump. Also hot air system, hydro air or hydronic baseboard. Customers need to know what they are thinking of before we can just throw a price together.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are constantly getting trained on the newest equipment and local code compliance. All of the supply houses like to offer classes on the equipment they sell so that the contractor does it correctly so we love getting into these classes.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been in the trades since I was 12. My Dad was a plumber and I always knew I would work with my hands. I was introduced to the sheet metal trade in 1989 by my Father in law and have been doing it ever since.
