We hired Walter to install several electrical outlets in several rooms, 2 of which were in hard to reach locations. He did excellent work. The job took a little longer than we anticipated, but I believe that was related to difficulty Walter was having reaching the spots where we wanted the outlets. You should also know Walter is very concerned about leaving your home in the same level of cleanliness that he received it...unusual for trades. I liked him and would strongly recommend him
He installed base board trim in living room, and registers in bedrooms. Finished job completely, worked around my schedule and charged a fair price. Would definitely hire again.
Jorge and his crew are timely, professional, tidy, and work toward getting the job done on time and on budget. We had them in to paint 3 rooms and the end product was excellent. The rooms got all the coats they needed and they finished on schedule and delivered everything as promised with his initial bid. I will definitely be working with Jorge and his team again.
Friendly and professional. Provided receipts for all materials purchased. Helped design crown molding feature over fireplace that is now a feature of that room. I appreciate that he was able to complete job on short notice.
Ceiling was repaired and entire room was painted. I was pleased with Teddy's attention to detail and overall finished product. Room looks wonderful!
Sealed off my crawl space in my basement and also treated my newly renovated basement that I was starting to have Mold issues with. Since Dri Basement serviced my home, I have not had any more issues.
Dan was hired to assemble and install IKEA cabinets in the kitchen. He did an impressive job they look beautiful. It was part of remodeling of our kitchen and as a contractor he scheduled his time around and with both the electrician and plumber. It soon became apparent that his skills on other parts of the renovation was invaluable. He opened the kitchen up in ways we didn't know was possible and offered ideas in the design that made our little kitchen more spacious then we thought possible. His help with coordinating color and patterns made this old kitchen in to something you might see in a magazine. We love it Thank you Dan! My Mother is a bit of a perfectionist and making her happy can be a task at times, but he accomplished it with a very professional attitude and skill. I have worked with other contractors before who can be tempermental with poor communication and disappearing for weeks at a time Not Dan he always kept me in the loop and was available for every concern. As for any improvement in hind sight the kitchen floor should have been covered the whole time because the plaster dust was somewhat difficult to scrub off the floor. And can I mention he did this while 2 small kids were Home on vacation and often in the way. His patients are to be admired as he always had a good sense of humor and a positive attitude.
Frankie and his crew delivered what was promised to surpass our expectations. We contracted him to remove a door and replace a double window with a french door in our dining room. From the beginning, his thought process from planning on the door type, the style, and finishing touches were carefully though of and executed. He knows what he is doing and if you want something at home done right, you call Frankie.
I contacted HRR HOME IMPROVEMENT LLC to get Master Bedroom, Kitchen, Dining room, Family room painted. Remi, the owner provided me with a very good price and scheduled me promptly. The guys were on time as scheduled. They were professional. Not some creepy goons working on your home. The paint job was perfect. (razor sharp lines, no splatters, they covered everything up to ensure cleanliness, they make sure you have a walk through before they leave and touch up things to your satisfaction. There were no sloppy roller marks on the wall, my walls look amazing. They had quality tools for the job. They work fast! The eco friendly paint was so worth it. It didn't smell like toxic paint. The painters are polite and reinstalled plates, blinds, closet doors back to where they were and made sure they closed properly prior to leaving. Again, the workers and Remi make sure the job is up to par from what you were expecting. I am so happy I found these guys. I'm definitely a customer for life!
David from Homestead came to tear out some carpet in a bedroom in our home. He and his assistant did a great job. They worked diligently moving heavy furniture, and removing many, many staples to reveal a beautiful hardwood floor. I was completely satisfied with their work and would recommend them.
I had Mike frame and drywall a room in my basement. Not only did he do an excellent job he also did some trim work that wasn't in the quote for free.He was always on time and Cleand up when he finished.I will definitely call Mike again. It was a pleasure doing business with him.
I do not even know where to start. If Bruce lived in a different time he would have been a Renaissance man. He possesses a masterful blend of artistry and intellect. The first project he did for us was to redo a simple laundry room. This entailed making templates and installing granite for a counter with a sink and a making a folding table/counter. He had to repair some sheet rock and repaint the room. The results were impressive. The second job he did was design and build a workbench for my art studio. His architectural renderings were impressive. He measured the length of my arms to insure I was able to reach the peg board behind the work bench. He thought to install a length of electrical outlets beneath the lip of the bench. The side drawers are easily opened and closed and the paper trays are large enough to hold my watercolor paper. He is extremely meticulous and his work shows this. He installed glass doors in the basement studio to allow more light to enter the area. When this wasn't sufficient, he cut through the concrete and installed a window (with molding and a sill). His masterpiece was the deck he built for us. With Bruce's skill and our artistic input he produced a showpiece deck. The three tiered deck allows for minimal visual obstruction of the woods below. He installed tiny lights on the stairs to make them safer in the evening. He thought of these. He made a portion of the deck curved to provide harmony with the landscaping. Again, his renderings were precise and impressive. He laid everything out carefully and was always thinking ahead. Our deck is magnificent. He handled all the paperwork for the permits as well. On a smaller scale Bruce hung paintings, our TV, glass doors leading to a bonus room, fixed all our leaky faucets and provided names when we needed a generator and a water softening system installed. Bruce is one of a kind in that he is masterful in so many areas and knows when to get a consult. He is prompt and ready to work hard. He put in very long hours, cleaned up and just did amazing work. I still look forward to having him finish an upstairs loft, a bathroom in our studio and build a space for a china hutch. I feel so fortunate that we found Bruce and would give him the highest of recommendations. He really is a Master of many things! He is also very easy to talk to and to work with.
Great experience from beginning to end!! Craig quickly responded to my inquiries on thumbtack. He gave us a fair estimate of what the job (hanging barn doors in our dining room) would cost. He was right on time when he came to look at the job in person and on the day the job was schedule he even waited for my husband (who was stuck in traffic) to get home. He completed the job in a few hours. The quality of his work was excellent and he even did a fabulous job cleaning up. Needless to say I am very happy and would highly recommend Craig's Carpentry. I intend to hire him again for future projects. A+++++
As a military family managing a rental property in New York while stationed in another state, it can be extremely stressful and inconvenient when things go wrong. Last winter (2015), we found that out first hand, when we had a pipe freeze while our tenants were on vacation. The resulting flooding and water damage required us to completely remodel our kitchen, upstairs bathroom, family room and basement. We turned to KW Building and Remodeling for the job and could not be more pleased with the result. Not only did they work with our insurance company for us, they managed the entire project from start to finish while we remained out of state. They stayed in constant communication with us and made us feel at ease as they restored the home we hope to one day retire to. Knowing what was happening every step of the way (including photo updates) was invaluable to us and we can't thank KW enough for their willingness to stay in touch at all times. The experience was positive for reasons far beyond the communication aspect, however. The work done by KW Building and Remodeling was top-notch and the sub-contractors they brought in for tile work were equally great. We have since recommended their company to several family members and friends and will continue to do so. For a stress-free, high-quality experience, you can't go wrong with KW Building and Remodeling. Thank you Karl for all you did for us!
Vic did an outstanding job enclosing our porch to make it a three season room. His approach was professional and his quote reasonable. The workmanship on the interior and exterior was excellent and the final result exceeded our expectations. We wholeheartedly recommend Victor Pires Construction.
Lani designed a whole new living room and made upgrades to the kitchen and family room. The end result was above and beyond my expectations. Lani began by finding out about our likes, dislikes, goals, budget, etc.. She then did her research and presented us with various fabrics and colors. The process evolved into a formal design plan, costs, and timelines. The most exciting part was being gone all day to return to a beautiful, newly decorated home. Lani was as excited as we were and it was apparent how much passion she has for her work.
Hired to replace plumbing in bathroom. Everything was excellent. Very professional experience
Andy was great! He followed through on everything he said he would do and took time to make the room look great. Not only does he and his crew know how to paint, they are knowledgeable in the various paints on the market. The room looks great! Highly recommend.
KPC Remodeling Inc. is an excellent, reliable, highly recommended contactor to remodel your home. Zdzislaw Wszeborowski aka Jerry the contractor helped me remodel my kitchen, bathrooms, and deck. It took him 6 weeks to finish the job and he was on time. Anything the he promised me he fulfilled it. Jerry is an excellent carpenter. He customized part of my cabinet and it came out just perfect. Thank you, Jerry, you made my dream came true. I am so in love with my kitchen. It's my new favorite room.
I would gladly recommend Jon's work! Bel Air remodeled my kitchen and master bath, and the work is gorgeous. I couldn't be happier. Bel Air was also the most reasonably priced contractor I found after searching and interviewing several and taking many quotes. The most important piece to me is that Jon warrantees his work and replaced a faulty light switch for free when I called. That's peace of mind.
David Servidio and his team at Tri-State transformed the first floor of our house. They removed all of the out-dated paneling and installed new sheet rock with crown and base molding. David also added a unique look to our dining room, by adding a chair rail with picture framed moldings. David, as well as all of his employees were very professional, and completed all of the work in a timely fashion. We are planning on updating our bathroom soon, and will definitely be using Tri-State again!
