FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to keep pricing fair and straightforward. For most jobs, I’ll give you a flat rate once I know what’s involved — no surprises or hidden fees. If it’s something quick, I might just charge a simple service call rate. I don’t mark up materials and I’m happy to work with you to stay within your budget. Estimates are always free, and I’ll never push work you don’t actually need.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually start by getting a quick description of the work you need done — either by message, call, or pictures if that’s easier. From there, I’ll let you know if it’s something I can take on and give a ballpark estimate or set up a time to stop by and take a look. Once we agree on the scope and price, I’ll schedule the work and keep you updated if anything changes. No pressure, no upselling — just honest work and clear communication.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I’ve worked with a little bit of everyone — homeowners looking to upgrade lights or outlets, landlords needing quick fixes between tenants, folks remodeling a room, and even small business owners who need help with their shops or offices. Most of my customers just want someone who’s reliable, does clean work, and doesn’t overcomplicate things — and that’s exactly how I try to operate.
