FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The approximate prices reflect the level of editing required for a manuscript (line-editing and developmental edits). For a manuscript draft, I consider the word count and required turnaround time. I also offer Zoom classes for individual coaching for both students and published authors.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I provide a "discovery call" so I can have an actual conversations about the needs of a specific client or writing student. What I'm looking for is clarity on the writer's "purpose," their "why" and "how" questions. I ask many questions, and provide advice on the next steps for the student or author.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my MFA in Creative Writing (Fiction) from the New School in Manhattan. I've been an award-winning Creative Writing & Literature professor for 12 years. I've also had tremendous results for students who need help drafting and revising their personal statements for college applications.
