FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to maintain fair and reasonable pricing for the work and liability I am taking on. I include travel fee for any job beyond my local area within my price. I do not surprise you with extra fees and make sure that the fee is clear at the time of booking. I offer discounts to repeat clients and those who have served our country, police and fireman, nurses and seniors. Please let me know if you are one of these special individuals!!! I will gladly extend the discount to you!! Let me know if you have a doggie rescue - I give a discount to those who rescue too!!! Weddings: I keep my pricing fair and reasonable and make sure the couple is clear on pricing. There are extra charges for travel beyond my local state area and for last minute ceremonies or on holidays that I have to leave my family like Christmas or Thanksgiving. However my fees are in my contract and everything I offer in service is clearly explained and agreed too by couple - there are no surprises with extra fees the day of the wedding. I am always a call away to assist with a wedding crisis or details at no extra cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to contact and speak with the customer first to ensure there are no miscommunications concerning the work to be performed, the time it will take, the cost to customer and the needed materials, documentation, ID etc necessary for the job. I take great pride in my work and the quality I give to my customers. For Notary jobs I make sure the documents and individuals are all present and I gladly offer mobile service to those who are in nursing homes, hospitals, home bound, or just need mobile service, As a wedding officiant I travel to most of CT and parts of NY. I like to speak with the couple first go over some details of the wedding then send out my services contract and questionnaire to couple to be completed. Once I have those back I work on creating custom ceremonies unique to the couple and the type of ceremony they want and envision. I help with writing vows and readings for the ceremony as well as the wedding process if the couple needs help. If the couple also needs help in planning I am available for an additional fee to help plan the event.
