For weeks, my central air wasn’t blowing cool air, and sleeping at night was brutal. We had fans running constantly, but it still felt way too hot in the house. And of course, this all happened just as the spring heat started creeping in—definitely the worst time for the system to fail. I finally called Lena, and I’m so glad I did. He took his time inspecting everything and found that a wire in my outdoor HVAC unit had been severed, which caused the thermostat to stop communicating with the furnace. He explained everything clearly and made sure I understood what was going on. He replaced the thermostat and even cleaned the HVAC system’s coil with a special chemical to improve airflow and air quality. Moreover, his pricing was incredibly fair—about half, maybe even a third of what others quoted on service fee and actually labor. He was honest and didn’t take advantage of my lack of HVAC knowledge. After seeing the full scope of the work and everything he had to fix, I felt the price was more than reasonable. He truly earned it. Lena was amazing from the time that I reached out to him to the completion of the job. He made sure I understood what was going on and went the extra mile to explain. I also liked that he did not pressure me to do any of the recommended work just made it known to me. If I ever have to do any work on the A/C again (hopefully I don’t) he will be the first person I contact.
