FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is competitive, but not so low as to prevent ,e f ok doing a thorough report. Beware of anyone who provides a cheap inspection, you will get what you pay for. Also, I strive to turn around reports quickly, but I will spend as long preparing the report as I do inspecting the home. If your getting a report at the home inspection, it will be nowhere as thorough and researched. As with most industries....Good, Cheap, Fast.....pick two.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with the customer at the site and find out if they have any specific concerns and what their intentions are with the property. Then I encourage the customer follow me through the home so I can point out important features and defects. Then after reviewing the findings on site, I prepare and electronically send a full report to the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a background as a builder and contractor performing all aspects of residential construction, as well as an experienced landlord, and certified professional inspector. I am qualified as a CT Fire Marshal in both inspection and investigation and bring a unique perspective to the home inspection process.
