Michael is excellent! He enthralled the audience young and old alike, his ability to improvise funny anecdotes in between wins hands down ! I would love to hire him Again 😊 he was also very involved in making the party a success and kids have maximum fun through magicJul 2, 2018Verified
Michael contacted me to get information on the venue. He showed up early to set up. His magic was great and the show was appropriate for our mixed crowd of children and adults. I would definitely hire him again. He is a very nice man and a very good magician!Jun 12, 2018Verified
Michael was awesome. He was able to accommodate a last-minute schedule change, and was extremely professional. The audience was 18 11-year old girls, two teenagers, and two adults, and his humor was just right for the age group. He kept everyone interested from the first minute to the last, including a very hard-to-impress birthday girl. We would have him back in a heartbeat, for this age group or for an adult party.Apr 17, 2017Verified
Michael performed for my daughter's eighth birthday party - 13 unruly second grade girls! He was fantastic - able to keep their attention and engage even the most spirited kids in his act. Also, he is really really funny - my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed his act and laughed our heads off. I would love to see his act when performing just for adults. Great experience.Mar 25, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I price my shows based on audience size, length of the show, type of magic entertainment provided, the venue size, travel distance to the event and whether the show will be performed outdoors or inside.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? The greatest teacher is experience. I began practicing magic at age 10 and started performing professionally when I was 12. I took magic lessons from many prominent magicians but it was my constant interaction with audiences that shaped me. As well as being a member of the Society of American Magicians, I am also a theater director who studied acting and directing at the Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory in Wash, DC and at the Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab. I have worked as an actor or director at The Kennedy Center, Ford's Theatre, Studio Theatre, Theater J and The Chocolate Factory. I believe every play or musical is a big magic trick that unwraps to reveal all of its surprises.
- What types of customers have you worked with?Stage magic, close-up sleight of hand and walk-around entertainment are all part of my repertoire. I have performed corporate trade shows for Xerox, McDonalds, and MCI; library shows for counties in MD, VA, DE, & the city of Philadelphia; galas and private parties in Washington, DC for Union Station, French & Italian Embassies; 20 years of New Year's Eve performances for the cities of Warrenton, Annapolis, Leesburg; and hundreds of shows for children at schools, birthdays, carnivals, and the Fairfax County Park Authority.
