FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally provide two options, hourly or flat fee by project or a hybrid. That way, the client feels like they can control costs while getting value.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We spend a little time exploring if I can provide the help they need, then a longer amount of time on their specific project, problem or plan. From there, we agree on pricing, milestones and ongoing services if needed. I provide a proposal and if that meets expectations, then a short! agreement. We roll up our sleeves and get going. Highline Consulting Better bookkeeping for better decisions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a staff accountant at the American Institute of Architects, as well as a Bookkeeper for Columbia Industrial (a small wholesaler) and also was the controller (chief accountant) for a software company (about 30 employees). I've had many other non accounting roles as well, especially in customer service.
