Introduction: The Pour Group is an F&B and events consulting company specializing in beverage experiences for events, restaurants and bars. Their very own master cocktail innovator and winner of Eater's 2013 bartender of the year, Juan Coronado, creates specialty cocktails that will captivate guests in all settings.
Juan Coronado previously was the cocktail innovator for Chef Jos Andres' renowned ThinkFoodGroup, where he oversaw the cocktail program for all TFG concepts, including the SLS Hotel South Beach. Recognized as a gifted bartender, Juan has won multiple "Rum Cocktail Awards" (2005, 2006 and 2012) and the Classic Martini Contest at the Astor Center in 2008 and most recently Eater National Best Bartender of Year 2013.
Juan is a certified sommelier and taught the sparkling wine summer program at CIA in Calistoga, Napa, from 2006 to 2007. Juan has also led seminars at spirits trade shows, including Tales of the Cocktail, Manhattan Classic Cocktail and the Rum Renaissance Festival.
