Andrew shot my baby's baptism. He was very responsive and reliable, and his photos were beautiful. He had a difficult subject (a 10-week old baby) and none of the photos caught her smiling and only a few looking at the camera. But the quality of the photos was great; he has a good eye and strong photo skills. He delivered the photos by Dropbox within about two days of the event (the baptism was on a Saturday afternoon and I had the photos shortly before midnight on Monday).

We had a last minute emergency and needed a photographer for our biggest corporate event of the year. We reached out to a ton of photographers but couldn't find one. We put a request out out on Thumbtack the day before the event and when we came across Andrew's quote, we knew right away he was the best option! He arrived early, was very professional, took GREAT photos, had a great turn around with delivery, was very fast in replying to emails and any questions we had, the edited pictures looked awesome. The whole night everyone was raving about how great of a photographer he was. He has high energy and is super fun and friendly. I would suggest Andrew for any event you have!

I do not. To be honest, it varies based on the hours of work, number of attendees, types of event, travel, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Studied Systems Engineering in college and now working as a Systems Engineer at a major consulting firm in the DC area.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started this as a side hobby from studying engineering all day. Photography has opened up a lot new doors for me and I've been fortunate to meet a lot of great people along the process.
