- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics requires that a registered dietitian nutritionist complete continuing education through a Professional Development Portfolio under the Commission on Dietetic Registration. This portfolio is reviewed every five years and a minimum of 75 hours is required for approval.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My work involves guiding a client towards realistic and small changes in their behavior patterns in terms of what we eat and how we eat. I guide a client to have success with their work each and every day.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently worked with a team of surgeons to develop a Center of Excellence program for bariatric surgery. In addition to the patient education, I created all the program education manuals for diet instruction.
