- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge $50/hour tutoring session and we always tutor a minimum of two times each week.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we set up a free evaluation with one of our senior staff. This consists of getting to know your child and establishing a reading profile. We will test for phonemic awareness; as well as have them read a few sentences at grade level. Our goal during this evaluation is for you and your child to get to know us and see the way we work with our students. The evaluation will last around 25-45 minutes. As soon as it is complete, we can discuss your scheduling needs. We will match you with a tutor that meets those needs and tutoring can start the following week!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our tutors have a background in education and are trained in the Barton Reading and Spelling System, an Orton-Gillingham based program.
