- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Online: $30 for a half hour session $60 for a one hour session $75 for a 90 minute session In person sessions tag on $5 to $10 for travel depending on distance. I am open to flexibility on this and am willing to work with clients' budgets.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To begin with a casual meeting (either in-person or via Zoom) with the customer to get a sense of their learning style and level of proficiency is extremely beneficial. If time and circumstances allow, a free 15 minute lesson can be tried out. The next step is to discuss convenient times and locations for tutoring sessions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Having performed translating and interpreting services at the Central and East European Art Foundation in Czech and Slovak, and to a lesser extent, in Romanian, Russian, Bulgarian and Serbian. It should be noted that upon being admitted to that high school I myself was immediately placed in her 4th year Russian class.
